You'll have the opportunity to describe the history of your case, details around your next court appearance, and where you feel you need support. You will use the time more efficiently if:

you have a list of questions you'd like to ask ahead of time

be prepared to take notes, or record the discussion

You're ready to take notes: hand written, recording the call.

You provide a detailed summary of your situation ahead of time, preferably in chronological, bullet point format, and describe circumstances where you feel you need coaching.

What to expect during your
Court Room Preparation Session
The lawyer walk you through procedural details, things you need to be mindful of when you appear in court (where to sit, how to address the judge), depending on what your appearance is for. They will guide you as far as what to do/what not to do, and educate you on the things you should ask for, how to cite the law to your advantage.

​In order to provide the most complete advice, the lawyer may:

ask for you to submit additional details (submit documentation, provide additional history etc...)

Ask you to schedule a follow-up call, if the one hour isn't sufficient to get you ready for your appearance.​
